  Why Books Are Better Than Movies.

Hi, my name is Hani. don't walk away to watch a movie wondering why  That's why I'm here. you must know People all over the world understand that books are way better than movies.

Well Like if you watch a movie you have sort of spoiled the book of course, well back to my speech these are my reasons why books are way better than movies.

 

To begin with, You can damage your eyesight from looking at a small screen or by looking at a screen for ages, Your eyes can get really tired and sore. people who stare at a screen tend to not blink and that can cause the eyes to dry and feel really uncomfortable. 

Another reason is because when you get stuck on a word you can learn from it like if it is a history book you can learn from where you are from your great grandparents and even from world war 1 or 2 

My next reason is you can have a fun kid mind and use your own imagination for kids and family for example a fairytale book

 My fifth reason is you don't have to rent or buy it, you can just borrow it or use a friend's one, if they let you make sure you don't steal it like 

 (two screens) its $12.99 

(four screens) its $15.99

My fourth reason is, that you can find your book at the local library but on an ipad it's heaps of money like on netflix,disney plus and some kids like watching movies and it's expensive for adults 

In fact without a book you have no knowledge and when you do have a book you could read about 20 books in a month.  People that are speedy readers can like read about 55 books in a week

My next reason is the news. I'd rather read the newspaper than watch a silly tv. 

The worst part about movies is that if the movie is in another language  you have to read subtitles and that's annoying. 

There you go! I have given you many reasons why books are better than movies, I bet you didn’t know that most movies come from books - that’s how movie makers get their ideas.

I hope you like my speech. Remember don't watch a movie.

Faye's Water

Once upon a time there was a girl named Faye. She was 3 and she had 3 brothers that were annoying.


They were left alone in the lounge. The boys were playing a board game but faye asked to play but they said no.


So faye walked away and was in the bathroom playing with her dolls and all she heard was ‘faye!’ her brothers were yelling out to her to get them a drink of water and she said ‘ok’.


And she thought since they did not let her play she would give them pay back so she went over to the toilet and grabbed a big cup full of water after all her brothers had a drink they were wondering what she was doing so they stood up and spied on her to know what she was doing. They saw she was getting it out of the toilet so The boys went to their mum and told on her because they did not want to drink toilet water ever in their life so their mum said ‘faye come here now!!’


faye ran into the kitchen because that's where their mum was. She said ‘coming’


After faye and her mum talked faye ran back into the lounge to say sorry to the boys.


They said sorry for not letting her play and she said sorry for giving them toilet water and the boys let her join in and she gave them proper water with ice and flavour.

Market day 2019

hi my name is Hani and my school name is Oruaiti. today im talking about our 5+honey that is $15 our t-towels that is $10 bags that is $12/$8 and a bundel that is $40 these are also going to be selled at our school market night and our web site on google that if you want to go on it then you just have to search it up but right now i don't know what it is.

at maket night if your coming we will have 4 stands one for the 5+honey another one for the t-towels one for the bags and the last one is for the bundel that has the 5+honey the t-towels the bags and the bees wax wraps if you don't won't to reread to find out how much the bundle is $40 we are also going to have 2 people on give out flyers to tell people to come look at our stands and our goal is to sell out of things like we won't to see like one thing on each table

Pet day 27th September 2019

On Tuesday our school had pet day. There was lot's, and lot's of animals and people at school.
There was so much food stores at school, l will tall you the food that we had:

• Drinks 
• Home made food
• Hot chips
• Cupcakes
• Cookies
• Lollies bags
• Nachos
• fizzy drinks

 We had a few games in the hall, with Manuka class
The games that we played was:

• Poop toys
• Hit the tower 
• Marble run
• Basics ball cups
• Fishing fun
• Nos and crisscross 

He had fun at the games but now it is time to watch our videos.
The videos are for the people that wort allowed to bring there pet's to school.

1 hour later, wow that was so cool watching those videos, but now it is time to watch the animals.
The animals that we are going to see are.

• Dog's
• Cat's
• Lames
• Goat's
• Rabbit's

The animals are so cute? 

Those are the animals that where at pet day.Pet day is a thing where you talk to your friended and be nice and to see what your animals can do?

What we like about pet day.
